My Approach

I obtained my undergraduate degree in psychology and fine art from the University of British Columbia. I combined my two passions for art and psychology in my masters degree, where I trained clinically in counselling & art therapy. I have a deep love for creative expression and a keen interest in how societal values, culture, and our early childhood experiences form our own narratives about ourselves, others and how we ultimately navigate the world.  I'm trained in a range of traditional verbal modalities of counseling as well as expressive therapies including art and play to support the needs of each unique client. I work with adults, adolescents and children from as little as 3 years of age.

My work is informed by many different theories and I take a holistic approach to supporting clients. First and foremost, I work from a client-centered place. From there, we can safely explore and work through what you are struggling with in an environment where you feel heard, seen and supported.

My role is to hold a safe space where we can unpack complex thoughts, feelings, and memories. I will encourage you to intuitively listen and engage with your mind, body and the things that fill your soul. I will help guide you to gain a deeper understanding about yourself and your experiences, while providing necessary coping tools to get through the tough stuff.

Let's work together so you can move forward, heal, and reconnect with your most authentic self.
